A:AnswerHi, I would suggest replacing the Realtek NIC that came with this laptop. I'm not sure what exact model(s) are compatible but it's a standard m.2 interface. The stock NIC is not only slow (I'm only getting 3-4 Mbps dl speeds on my 6-7 Mbps internet) but it constantly loses connection with my router that is less than 30ft away. I highly recommend an upgrade.
A:AnswerI don’t see why not, but I also haven’t tried. You may be interested in WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux or something) which I believe is a new windows 10 feature. Basically gives you an Ubuntu terminal in Windows
A:AnswerIt has a second M.2 slot, but only support PCIe 3x2. If you upgrade, don't spend money on the faster NVMe PCIe 3x4 SSDs. Asus capped the bandwidth to half it's full potential.
A:AnswerVIPS is most likely tn, although there are good tn panels such as the 120hz ones on msi raider laptops.
This panel is 45% ntsc and is decent, although not good as 72% ntsc found on true ips panels
