Yes, the ssd is swappable. You must clone the ssd first. Then swap it with the new ssd. Only a single nvme slot is available.

It's swappable, comes right out and you can put the new one right in. You can also stick another DDR5 stick in as well, there's an open slot.

The SSD is a PCIE slot and isn't soldered. I replaced mine with a 4tb PCIE gen 4 SSD and it works just fine.
