1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort™ 1.4 and Power Delivery
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have NOT been able to get oculus link to work no matter what. I followed tutorials several in fact none worked.. Disabled onboard graphics linked all oculus and steam VR exes to Nvidia Processor still would not work. Contacted Oculus been two weeks two different techs..I still don't have an answer I have yet to see ANY switchable graphic laptop to work in VR.........
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have spent probably close to days trying to get this thing to run, first with my Oculus Rift CV1 and now with an Oculus Quest 2. I haven't gotten it to work with either, and I've been an IT professional for over a decade. Between SteamVR insisting it isn't running on the primary GPU for the Rift, and it just straight not outputting a signal over Oculus Link OR Virtual Desktop with the Quest 2, I've about given up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later."1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort™ 1.4 and Power Delivery" After digging around the Type-C port is also directly connected with the video port to the 2060mq - This is what is on this Laptop and it is certified for use with the Rift S. You will need a USB type C cable/adapter though that is DisplayPort 1.4 compliant. I would hit up youtube for reviews on what really works as an adapter before purchasing anything as it should be "Fiber Quality" on bandwidth according to Oculus.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would be able to Run An Oculus Quest, the G15 can run it, and the specs are really similar, the problem, it won't run Oculus Link perfectly since it's on Beta, but it'll run Perfectly through Virtual Desktop. So I am currently talking to Oculus to see if they can be able to support the 4800hs & 4900hs CPUs since they have no excuse on these processors to be chugging the way they do if Virtual Desktop runs Perfectly, especially with Half Life Alyx on the Highest settings. Tested on the G15 ( 4800hs, GTX1660ti)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it won’t work with oculus rift we bought a display cord to usb c converter which lasted a few months and all of a sudden one day it stopped working no matter what we did it won’t work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should be able to run the Oculus Rift S and Oculus Quest.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They make USB C to type-C hubs/adapters. The USB-C port on this supports displayport.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One of the USB Type C ports has DisplayPort functionality (the one next to the HDMI port), so you can likely get a Type C to DP adaptor and it would work fine for VR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has USB Type C DP and an HDMI. For RiftS u might need an adapter to convert the type C to a full size DP. No thunderbolt, it’s AMD
