QuestionDoes this model have the LEDs on the back of the screen that you can animate to your liking? Also i have seen in some videos the keyboard has many LED colors to choose from but in others i have see that there is just the white color, witch of these is it?

QuestionIf I choose to upgrade to 24GB RAM by switching out the 8GB stick with a 16GB stick, will the ram still run in dual channel mode, or will I lose performance? Also, is the USB-C DisplayPort wired directly to the Nvidia GPU, or VEGA GPU like the HDMI port?

QuestionHow well will my FPS be in Sea of Thieves and on what settings?

- Answer best FPS that i have gotten is 171 after i upgraded my Ram to 32, was 151. so for some reason upgrading ram is like double overkill Also just letting you know: on league of legends and other games, fps can go up to 244 but that's over kill so i recommend to limit your fps for all games to 90-130 with AMD Radeon settings especially if you run Spotify and/or stream games at the same time.

QuestionWhat is the battery life like on this laptop? I need a laptop for college that can program well, work with CAD, obviously game well, and preferably not die quickly. I know it is a lot to ask, but can this laptop do it?

- Answer For normal use on silent mode. I get about 9-10 hours. If you are running more intensive programs you could be getting about 6-8 hours depending on the programs. This laptop offers really good battery life. If you are looking to code in this laptop keep in mind that there is no Home/End/PgUP/PgDn keys. These keys tend to make programming a lot easier. If you are ok with not having these keys, then I see no problem with getting this laptop.

QuestionIs it compatible with the Rift S?

- Answer Yes. The Rift S recommends a NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPU with a AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This system exceeds those recommendations (by quite a bit). You will need to get a USB C to Display Port Adapter (or HDMI to Display Port) to get the Rift S and this laptop working together.

- Answer Both the CPU and GPU have a graphics processor. You can let the machine choose automatically for best performance, or manually select which processor you would like to use.

- Answer Mine is super quiet under normal web surfing, watching YouTube, or word processing. At these time the laptop runs cool (typically around 45 Celsius). The only time my fans kick in is when gaming, and they are loud but not overbearing, in my opinion. (The top of the keyboard gets uncomfortably warm/hot in the area between the screen and the top of the keyboard (running around 80-85 Celsius under heavy loads).

QuestionHello, im liking this laptop a lot considering buying it but I'm not that tech savvy. would this computer be able to play Final Fantasy XIV??? I think it would but id like to hear from some one that knows what they are talking about.

- Answer No benchmarks have been done with the 2060 MQ in FFXIV, but its performance should be about equivalent to a desktop RX 590, which averaged 91.5 fps at 1080p max settings. So yes, it will definitely be playable.

- Answer My best guess as to why it's missing some features is to keep price under 1500$. Rgb lighting is cool. No need to make this model 2000$. Same goes for web cam and better screen. You bump up those 3 areas and itll make this model over 2000$. You want to be in that price range look at razer blade.

- Answer It's a lot of tech for under 1500$ you can't notice the screen that much that it's worth making this machine 2000$. I'm happy with it just the way it is.
