Oh the big hdmi cable conundrum. Connectivity is always tricky on every viewing requiring unplugging and plugging back in repeatable. We do need a new video cable standard so badly for hdmi presents plug and play issues while things needing the cable usually don't come with them. It's getting like that with other electronics as well such as car jumper power pack where you must buy the cord separately.
