“Does it have a PCIe gen 4 ssd?”

• According to specs provided directly on the Asus website for this specific model, the SSD is 1TB M.2 NVMe™ PCIe® 3.0 SSD. Other higher end models indicate they have PCIe 4.0 SSDs in them (but no indication if the motherboard also has PCIe 4.0 capability); however, those higher models still do not seem to be available in the US yet, and I have been watching for the last few months. I'm guessing perhaps labor or supply chain issues of some sort?? At the great sale price available now at Best Buy, I decided not to wait any longer and I purchased the particular model you are inquiring about, though, and I can say that it is incredibly fast even with a 3.0 SSD. I am extremely pleased with it and its amazing performance.
