The screen has a brightness level of 300+ nits, FHD (1920 x 1080) 16:9, anti-glare display, sRGB:62.5%, Adobe:47.34%, Refresh Rate:144Hz, Value IPS-level, Adaptive-Sync, MUX Switch + Optimus.

I have a 2015 macbook pro, is this display better? Nope but you can actually play games on it which is why I got it and they look fine to me. Another option would be build a desktop and then get the most glorious monitor you want.
