A:Answer The speed really depends on where your router is placed. If your laptop currently has a wifi chip, this could effect the wifi negatively because you’re giving your computer 2 different “antennas” to pick up a wireless signal. Might be better if you bring your router closer, connect the computer via Ethernet cable, or go with a Mesh Kit to provide more reliable wifi throughout the house.
