This should work as long as you let Windows 8 install the drivers. When you plug the BT211 in, make sure you are connected to the Internet so that Windows can find and install the appropriate drivers.

It Should, it has a fully updatable driver system that i have used to transfer it to several computers including a windows 8 gaming laptop and my personal asus g7. however its not as simple as plug and play sometimes, you may have to play with it a bit. hope this helped
