Yes, you should be able to pair your Jambox to your laptop with this to play music.

Please try again later.Yes it should. i have not had your exact experience but what this has that allot don't is a fully up-gradable driver system that has allowed me to pair it to any number of things and i run it with the same windows 7 you have. though the same driver system that makes it fully compatible also makes it a little harder to use than a simple plug and play dongle like your targus probably is. hope this helped
