QuestionSo I bought a windows laptop last year from target put in a same place with my desk I am interested in buying a pc and this monitor will it be laggy, cuz when I bought the laptop it was horrible laggy I’m scared That’s gonna happen again is It I’m scared.

- Answer Well this will work with amd graphic cards in order to get the freesync working correctly. It does work with some g sync graphics card so you would need to check which Nvidia cards it is compatible with. I recommend going with Nvidia gtx cards 1070 and up and getting a gsync monitor instead.

QuestionI have two 60 hertz monitors and if i buy one of these and hook it up so have one 60 hertz monitor and 1 more 144 hertz monitor. Will that work?

- Answer Yes, but also depends on what you are doing with it. If you just want secondary desktop monitor it's fine. I have used all kinds of different monitors for extra desktops does not matter the refresh rate. If you are doing some multi monitor gaming it will be very noticeable the 60 vs 144 hz 144hz will be smooth, 60hz will appear choppy compared to 144hz I have set one monitor to 60hz and the other to 144hz. dragging windows from 1 to the other you see the lag of the 60hz monitor. but does not affect usage at all. just maybe gaming you will notice the frame rates are slow in the 60hz.

QuestionHi! So I saw this monitor on amazon and it said that you have to disable ELMB function to use adaptive sync/FreeSync and the pc that im gonna get is a Intel not an AMD so would it still be compatible?

- Answer Adaptive/ Free Sync technology is compatible with PCs using an AMD graphics card. Without a compatible AMD graphic card you can still use the monitor but will not be able to use that feature.

- Answer To Answer my own question: I went and downloaded the user manual from ASUS and found this for anyone having the same questions I did. 1.2 Package contents Check your package for the following items: LCD monitor Monitor base Quick start guide Warranty card Power adapter Power cord DisplayPort cable (optional) HDMI cable (optional) DVI (Dual-Link) cable (optional) Audio cable (for VG278QR only) If any of the above items is damaged or missing, contact your retailer immediately.
