Power Point, Word, etc, Should work without a hitch. This processor is overkill and I highly recommend. The NVME SSD will also help those programs but this will solve a lot of your performance woes. The memory at 12GB is more than sufficient for word processing and web browser tabs. It should be more than capable for the next 5 years if your doing Web browsing and Word/Power Point. Downloading its really fast. WIFI 6 so on the right network its a boss. I don't really notice the downloads happening and anything less than 1GB in size is basically instantaneous if your home/school/work network is fast enough. Its got a 512GB NVME SSD, So far its been very fast, Boots to windows very fast, download save Very fast, and I personally haven't broken 100GB of usage yet but Given your workload I cant imagine breaking that unless you download a lot of videos.
