• No, you will not need to install anti-virus software if you switch out of S mode. Windows 11 comes with it's own anti-virus that functions fine with or without S mode enabled.

• No, Windows 11 security features will still be the same switching from S Mode to Home Edition. Windows 11 has a built-in anti-virus software.
