• No, given Inventor needs 32 gigs of Ram to run well. This laptop only has 12 GB of ram. This laptop also does not have a dedicated video card.

• I installed AutoCAD...and in 2D works great not sure about 3D since I only use it to make 2d floor plans. Never use inventor. For me the 16” screen is a little small to work on AutoCad 8 hours a day for the whole week...I suggest to connect a 27” monitor or bigger to the laptop if you are going to use AutoCAD for extended time.
