QuestionIs this a good laptop for college students? Only thing I'm going to be doing on this (or a) laptop would be just watching any videos for classes and writing papers/powerpoints etc., or are there any better laptops more suitable? (budget is $350)

- Answer YES. I would recommend this for a college student. Does all the functions.. USB SD and other handy things. It comes installed with Windows 10 which is nice. I'm not a huge fan of anything windows because I run MAC OS but I like this ASUS. 8/10 would deff buy for the price.

QuestionI currently have an ASUS that's only a year old. It frequently disconnects from the internet and shuts off when unplugged. Has anyone had these with this model of ASUS?

- Answer A lot of laptops will shut down or go into sleep mode when unplugged. You can change the sleep settings in the control panel, but if the battery is drained and the laptop is unplugged it will still shut down. I have had no issues losing my internet connection with this machine unless the router is out of range or not reciving a signal.

- Answer Celeron is the worst intel operating system, in my opinion. Pentium is a much better version of the Celeron. Celeron is slow and isn't very good for daily use while Pentium is the exact opposite

QuestionI am wondering if older games work on this computer like Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and 3, some of the Harry Potter games, and stuff like that. I was thinking seeing as those games were designed for older computers they should play fine on this one? Thanks!

- Answer This laptop is powered by a Pentium processor that is designed only for web browsing and small multitasking. I recommend getting an i3 as you will get a much better experience than the Pentium. As always, a discrete Nvidia or AMD gpu is always recommended above all else since integrated graphics are not designed for games. A AMD one would be perfect as there are many budget AMD laptops available and they have a slightly better standard gpu than Intel graphics.

- Answer This Asus X541SA comes in soldered 4GB RAM and there is no Expansion for this laptop purchased from Best Buy a month ago, because this Notebook were so so slow that I look through all info and specs and saw the person (Best Buy Verified) who answer the question about the RAM Upgrade he says that it can be upgraded another 4GB DDR3L SDRAM, so without opening this notebook (this is the most difficult to open by unscrew every parts to get the MB out) so I purchased it $100+ RAM for the notebook, NOW I FOUND OUT THAT YOU CAN NOT INSTALL THE ADDITIONAL! The VERIFIED AXXHOLE WHO ANSWER THIS MF QUESTION IS A COMPLETE BUXXSHXXT! This NOTEBOOK IS THE WORSE NOTBOOK IN THE MARKET! Don’t even buy it, buy other brands maybe better than this JUNK!

- Answer This model weighs 4.41 pounds. Windows 10 is the operating system, you do not have to pay for it and without modification the system does not work without another operating system. Did you mean to ask if it had Windows Office or other such software. An operating system is the basic of what a computer runs on.

- Answer To be honest with you, no. This is not a gaming laptop. You can play games but at a certain extent. An i5 is the minimum recommended processor for running games SMOOTHLY. Expect to play your games on very low frame rates on this laptop and having to turn the settings to very low. At least get an i3 if you are on a budget but an i5 is the sweet spot and an i7 is designed to handle extreme gaming, with the right graphics card.
