Let me make a slight mod to the Asus answer, to make it slightly more accurate. The USB-C 4.0 port does support Thunderbolt devices (depending on device - Thunderbolt 3 devices more likely supported). The USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port is just a USB port and does not support Thunderbolt at all (and same for the two USB type A ports. Looks like both type C ports support Display Port out, and I think both of them support Charging In as well. So if you have a monitor with a type C in that also provides power, you could power your laptop from your display. Also note that with the USB-C 4.0 having 40 bandwidth, you can have a wired 10GbE Ethernet connection at the cost of an Ethernet dongle that sells for as cheap as $25.
