A:Answer Windows 10 by default doesn't really shut down - it hibernates. To see if that's the issue, try holding the shift key down when selecting shut down. That should really turn it off. If the problem is some outside influence triggering the machine to come out of hibernation (like a USB device), doing the shift-shutdown might do the trick
