Make sure you press the USB Bluetooth thingy completely into its slot (found in the back of the screen), your keyboard will automatically work. Make sure you take off all battery protectors in the keyboard/mouse so that the battery makes connection. I had issues because I only pressed it in half way, afraid of breaking something, but it is suppose to go in until you see no part of the metal looking section.
