I can't find any information on the Best Buy web site clarifying if it is still valid when purchased at Best Buy. Can you confirm if this warranty is valid with a Best Buy purchase or not?”

Based on Asus's website, Best Buy (among other retailers) is excluded from the ADP warranty. https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/693/

You would want to contact the manufacturer directly to find out more about the actual coverage details. As far as I know, it would be the standard manufacturer warranty. You would have the option to purchase a 1 year, 2 year, or 3 year Geek Squad Protection plan that offers accidental damage. Thanks!
