Yes, you can replace SATA SSD drive to a PCIe drive. Due to the unit only has one M.2 SSD slot, you need to remove the original drive in order to upgrade it to a PCIe drive. However, if you decide to upgrade it to a PCIe drive, we recommend you that send the unit to a professional for a hard drive upgrade.
