- Answer The ASUS external drive is a DVD/CD burner, so it does the same thing your internal CD burner did. It has no internal storage. It just reads and writes DVD and CD media.

- Answer Blue Ray compatibility is not listed in the specifications. Blu Ray uses different laser technology than DVD. You will also likely run up against Digital Rights Management (DRM) issues. Most PC's 2024 and later can't read Blu Ray disks.
