I don't know about Ringplus. As for FreedomPop, the technical answer is "No." Reason: FreedomPop runs off of Sprint towers on the CDMA bands. This is a GSM based phone. It is specifically designed to work with GSM carriers such as AT&T and T-Mobile. It is confirmed to work on Cricket Wireless as well, which is owned by AT&T. The unofficial answer regarding FreedomPop is: "Unknown; Possibly yes, but on a limited basis." This conclusion is reached based on the activated Bands in the phone. All of Sprint's data bands are present in this phone, but Sprint's Talk/SMS/MMS Bands are missing from the hardware configuration. Therefore, in theory, you could pick up a FreedomPop SIM and a Voip number, using only the data portion of their network. But you will undoubtedly have limited functionality, if any. This phone is confirmed to work without any carrier, with Voip, as long as you have a WiFi connection active. I has Native SIP built in with the dialer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If they use GSM phones, then yes.
