• YES! Since the upgrade to Android marshmallow 6.01 the speaker is fully functional. It works great.

• with an upgrade to the latest version Android 6.0 you will have this ability to make calls but nt reciving calls. The watch will alert you to to inomng calls and give you to answer or ignore the call on yor phone.

• The watch itself, does not have a sim card. However, making/receiving phone calls and text messages can be handled via the "Ok Google" app on your smartphone.
