Make sure you install Android wear and also connect the watch via wifi to install the latest version. The watch will update several times and it does take a while to update so please be patient. You can track the update progress by going into the About tab in the Settings menu on the watch. By the way this is an excellent watch. Good Luck,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this same problem with the Moto 360 2nd gen. I tried all the same things including factory reset on the watch, deleting Android wear then turning the phone off and on after removing Android Wear. I took it into Geek Squad and they thought it was the phone, swapped it out for a new one. With the new watch I finally figured out that you must pair to the Android Wear app. DO NOT try to pair it the same way you would pair some other device to your phone. Another staff member at Best Buy later confirmed this little nugget of knowledge. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's probably too late to help you out with this purchase, but I will answer the question anyway just in case in the future someone else needs help. To get started I recommend doing the initial install where WiFi is available. Power on device and let it update. DL the Android Wear app from the play store. Go to your Bluetooth settings on your phone and make your phone discoverable. Scan for devices On the Asus smart watch go to the WiFi settings and log in on to your WiFi network. In the Android wear app it will prompt you to search for devices. After you click search your zen watch 2 should pop up on the screen with a code. Hit pair. Be patient, the watch will need to spend some time updating and syncing to your phone. It is trying to gather compatibility and permissions to all your apps that it will show notifications for. Depending on how many apps/email accounts you have, this may take a while. I recommend once again doing it over the WiFi. I had the hardest time syncing it without WiFi. Hope this helps others in the future.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would uninstall Android Wear and Asus Zenwatch Manager completely from your phone. I would also forget the watch as a device in bluetooth. Then try to factory reset the watch. Download the android wear app when prompted by the watch. Then try to follow the setup that way. Whe the watch is updating and syncing, it does take a couple minutes. I jope it works. I love this watch and it works well on my Note 5.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to set it up with the Androidwear app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You Tube has a video on how to pair the watch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the watch does use Bluetooth but u have to have the android wear app. It will not work without it. Once u get the app it will walk u through set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had an experience similar to yours. When I got a new phone (LG V10) instead of Samsung S5 I had a problem reconnecting the watch to the phone. I had to to do a factory reset on my watch TWICE before it got connected and stays this way since then. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you have to download the "android wear" app first. then the app will walk u thru the setup process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had no problems getting it to work. I used the tutorial found on the watch and followed it exactly without incident. I am wondering if you might need to go into the bluetooth settings on your watch/phone and get it to scan and find each other. When you set it up with the app, you will see a code that the watch displays that you need to enter into the phone- if you didn't see this I would reset the watch, then kick in the tutorial and use that. Good luck!
