“I just purchased the 1740 voicemail. I have it setup and connected to my phone. However, when I call the phone number the phone continues to ring (I have it set on 3 rings) and never gets sent to voicemail. Any ideas?”

If you have home internet on the same line, you may need a DSL filter, otherwise, the interference can keep the machine from picking up a ring.
