QuestionCan you disable the answering machine? We have voice mail with Verizon.

- Answer Yes, the answering machine can be disabled...just do not turn it on.We also have another voice mail service, but it is nice though to have both we have found out. If someone is calling at the same time as another person you have another answering service for that call instead of the call waiting tone/busy signal.
