“Is the person easy to understand when the voice announces the caller's name? Do the current phones have an announcer who can at least get names phonetically correct? We have older AT&T cordless phones and most of the time I don't know who the caller is.”

• The announcer is easy to understand. We have the benefit of seeing the name and number of who is calling on our TV.

• I don't know, I turned this feature off. When I first setup the phones it was on by default. The sound is only as good as the built-in speakers which are OK but a lot better than the current Panasonic phones.
