• I haven't noticed any back sound at all. It seems to be very clear as far as I can tell. I like the AT&T

• As good or better than our previous at&t system. Excellent call clarity better than other brands I have used in friends' homes.

• Can't answer that except that the clarity (vs. loudness) is better than the old ATT phone system I had.

• I am replacing a Panasonic cordless with this AT&T and it does an excellent job. I would recommend it.
