Yes you can. I currently have my base wall mounted in the Kitchen. This phone wall mount was installed in my house in 1993 and it fit the base perfectly. The handset rests securely in the base cradle. The only problem I found is my wall mount is just under a cabinet and obstructs my view of the LCD display. It's not really a problem if you enable voice caller announcement .
