Chances are you misunderstand what they're offering. What they're saying is you can use your account login info from your home internet service to sign in to paid AT&T-hosted networks around the nation when you're out and about. That said, if you have a cell phone on the newer unlimited plans, you may be able to add a "normal" battery powered hotspot which will have better performance for the same $20/month if you add it onto your existing cell service. That might be a better option for those who have unlimited cell phone plans with AT&T. For the rest of us this is a fantastic bargain data plan. Unlimited data for $20/month, and it can be on a stand-alone account. The ONLY services I have with AT&T is my two Mobley devices.
