• No, not with this. I use this on my lap when I'm in my recliner. The legs are very flimsy and give away easily. I would not trust it with any weight on it.

• Not meant to be used as a monitor stand, as it is more for a laptop. It can be placed on a desk to raise the laptop's view for the user to be more at eye level, instead of looking down.
