These headphones are designed to give you balanced sound. Most headphones are designed to boost the bass. If you want to boost the bass an eq will take care of that. If you want headphones that give you a true sound stage that you can change to your liking with an eq, then these are for you. If you would rather have booming bass that overtakes the rest of the music then i would seek elsewhere.
