• This particular adapter is female input and male output. It is also a “left” adapter. Before you buy, use the product picture and compare which direction you need, left or right.

• It's male female. Female goes into TV and male accepts the HDMI cable

• USB and HDMI are two different formats. We are not aware of any adapters that convert USB to HDMI.
