“How come the audioquest cinnamon 2017 model says 4k+HDR on the head of the cable but the 2016 model says High speed with Ethernet? is it just different packaging? Do they work the same?”

• It's just different packaging. The cables are exactly the same. Older Cinnamon HDMI cables (8.0 m. and shorter) will handle 4K just as well as the new cables.
