You need to look as to why it doesn’t fit. In my situation I had to use one of these (to ensure I could get the TV as close to the wall when mounted) and I had to add an extension to ensure it cleared the backside of the TV (as the port was recessed). I’m sure if you either take a picture of your situation and take it to best buy, they could help you out. Or, you can try to figure out what you need and go from there. You can find many adapters at Best Buy and online if needed. Good luck!
