In my situation I had to use one of these (to ensure I could get the TV as close to the wall when mounted) and I had to add an extension to ensure it cleared the backside of the TV (as the port was recessed). I’m sure if you either take a picture of your situation and take it to best buy, they could help you out. Or, you can try to figure out what you need and go from there. A:AnswerIn principal, the use of any adapter is a compromise. However, this adapter uses high quality materials and the amount of compromise is so small as to be inconsequential. I would be surprised if anyone could see or hear a difference with and without the adapter.
A:AnswerThey have an adapter for older tv’s that will work it a HDMI to RCA adapter , They sell it on Amazon for about 13 dollars they may sell it at Best Buy also I just never looked.
