• Toslink is a digital format, and a cable cannot convert digital to analog, or vice versa. In order to connect your headphones to the TV you need a headphone jack on the TV. If they're isn't one, you would need a DAC (digital to analog convertor). The Toslink cable would connect to the DAC's digital input, and you could connect the headphone's to the DAC's analog output.
