Q: QuestionThis is an excellent cable however I am considering returning it and going with the Audioquest Vodka HDMI cable for sound for my JBL 3.1 BAR soundbar and subwoofer(wireless) Does this cable not support 3.1 channel and higher?

• A:Answer As long as the hardware supports 3.1, the fiber optic cable will provide 3.1. However, HDMI has a wider bandwidth and so would probably sound better than a fiber optic cable.

Q: QuestionAs of right now I have a Audioquest Cinnamon HDMI cable running from my 4k tv to my soundbar so would it be an upgrade if I replace that cable with this one considering Vodka is superior to the Cinnamon lineup? I know HDMI is better than an optical cable

• A:Answer Cables can only make improvements by introducing less distortion into the system and doing less harm to the signal. The less distortion, the better. A cable cannot improve the cable it’s carrying. So upgrading your cable to a better one will absolutely make your system sound better.
