• No it does not. The reason that it doesn't is because you use the deadbolt that is already there and the keys do not change from the original. This is simply a device that replaces the locking mechanism on the inside of the door. It is very easy to install. Follow the directions and anyone can install it

• No it does not. This unit is meant to retrofit an existing deadbolt. You reuse all components of the existing lock except the back plate which gets replaced by the August lock.

• It does not come with keys as you use the existing deadbolt you have on your door. You will just replace the lock on the inside of the door with the August lock. All the components remain the same on the outside of the door.
