- Answer The self-clean/OZONE cycle should be run once a week and will take 90 minutes to complete. The begin the self-clean/OZONE cycle simply press and hold the black self-clean/OZONE switch for a few moments. When letting go of this switch it will pop back up into place. The power light will begin to blink. Do not use the water cooler while the unit is actively self-cleaning. When the cycle is complete the power light will return to steady on and you can use the cooler as normal
