You have a choice to enable the browser extensions or not. I hope that answers your first question. If you use the AVG Secure Browser that is installed with the software, it does keep up with trackers and block them as you desire. Just set the settings the way you want them. You can uninstall the AVG Secure Browser in Programs & Features on your PC if you desire and just keep the Internet Security program. I am not sure if this tracks all of my internet usage. I think it probably has a setting to either allow it or not.
