I installed it on an old windows 7 machine. I don't notice it slowing down the laptop. It had more features than the free windows security software that I was using and I wanted to check them out.

Cheap Protection

You can run a scan to clean cookies, etc.. AVG keeps sending pop ups to UPSELL YOU on better protection. Very distracting and cheapens the product you bought!

Is reasonably priced and offers another level of computer protection which is always welcome.

Whether I'm buying or just browsing the Internet. I know I don't have to worry about anyone stealing my information or hacking me. AVG is the best I've had for my Laptop!

Based on my opinion, my laptop kept telling me that I had no protection and I need to get some...after I applied the AVG. But after I finally got it to work, I enjoyed knowing that my PC is protected.
