- Answer Battery operated motors for prop and squirt gun pump. Put in alkaline or lithium expensive batteries and you’ll get long life use. Prop is contained within a plastic cage and hangs down about 12-15” and can be steered. Buy high quality alkaline or lithium “D” batteries for best results. You do not recharge the batteries.
