• It is not possible to download apps from sources other than the NOOK app store, which has thousands of popular games, but you can play online games when they are optimized for mobile devices.

• Don't think so. This is not a game machine. It's really just a reader, but it does that superbly. You might look into the Nook Tablet, but for games, I'd probably look into an Android tablet.
