This comes with a carrying case, plastic magnifying chamber, and lens cloth. The farthest distance you can see a rabbit depends on your eyesight. This monocular will make it appear 8x closer than it normally would, so if you can normally see a rabbit at 100ft away with your naked eye, you should be able to see the rabbit using the monocular at about 800ft away. As far as nighttime viewing, even with a flashlight, it will be difficult to see, but you maybe able to see some larger objects if your flashlight puts out enough light. The smallest thing you will be able to see with the attached magnifying chamber would need to be about 1" away from the lens and fit into the field of view.
