“My tripod requires a screw and my camara also hooks on with the same screw. Would I be able to hooks this on to both the tripod and the camera? (I have 0 screws currently).”

Unfortunately, if the tripod only has one screw, it can only fit either the camera or the adaptor. You won't be able to mount both at the same time.
