• Hi, Andrew. If the laptop supports thunderbolt then it will work as the cable supports charging, data sync, and video display.

• I think so. I am using exactly for this case and so far so good! Audio, videos, and charging all in once. The cable is connecting the laptop to the doc station. I have a HP elitebook.
