• Hi, gale. The cable has been designed to work with USB-C-enabled MacBooks. There should be no reason for your computer's warranty to be voided when this cable is used.

• The cord works fine with my MacBook Pro. Nothing I've read said that the warranty would be voided.

• This is not a charger- it’s just the cable. You would have to read Apple’s warranty to make absolutely certain, but there is no reason why it should.
