Hi. The router has an approximate indoor range of 230 ft. But this will still depend on your house design. If there are too much physical interference (such as walls) between your device and the router, you may experience intermittent connection from the router.

For example I have stone facing which would absorb signal itself but it is installed on an expanded metal grid attached to the walls. That makes a great humongous ground plane that eats nearly all signal no matter what router you use. Simple 2x4 construction with drywall such as interior walls will probably let you go 30 to 40 feet with adequate signal strength but I would not count on much more than that unless you have line-of-sight freedom of obstructions. Range measurements and advertising are always obstruction free line-of-sight because it is too variable and complicated any other way. If your outside cameras are near your router you may be OK, if further away you can probably use a low cost range extender to cover the gap. For twenty bucks I got an N band extender that plugs in a socket and can automatically configure itself with WPS that is on this Belkin. In less than five minutes you don't even know the range extender is there, it just all works and it gives me 95% of the ISP speed running internet speed tests. WiFi speed between your devices will be much faster than typical ISP connections. Range extenders can also help handle an increased number of devices if you have a lot of WiFi devices. In most cases I would start down this path as it is lower cost. However, if you have a lot of HD resolution cameras outside and want to record them all at once, such as a high end security system, then you might want to be asking your Best Buy techs about mesh networking. Mesh is sort of a little like range extending except a LOT more powerful and a LOT more expensive. This is the way to go if you are dealing with a "McMansion" size property with several thousands of square feet to cover.
