- Answer On your printer, push wireless connection It should give you 2 choices, choose Pin to connect. then write down the number it gives you then go to the Belkin setup page http://192.168.2.1/ click WiFi Protected Setup, Submit, then under # 1 Pin setup method enter the Pin your printer gave you. click enroll the click OK on the printer. Takes about a minute and it will read "This device is connected"

QuestionWhat does a blinking red light (located below the blue light) signify?Red light blinked for a period of time and then stopped. Computer was not in use when the red light was blinking. Afterwards the computer operated normally with only the blue light on.

- Answer The light below the routers main status light is the WPS security light. There is a button on the front of the router used for setup of WPS security. The light will blink if someone pressed the WPS button on the front of the router, and will turn off after 2-3 minutes if no connection is made. Regards, Belkin Support

- Answer Absolutely, YES. I have this wireless router in my home, with an older Western Digital MyBook 500Gb external hard drive and it works wonderfully. The router's USB is only a USB 2.0, but I have had no trouble with it whatsoever. The router shows up on your Network, and allows you to select the harddrive (currently mine is listed as (MYBOOK_STORAGE(A1) and MYBOOK_MEDIA(A2) because I have it partitioned) to access any files on it. Hope this provided a good answer for you!

QuestionCan it be used as a wireless NAS?Can I place the router in a location, not connected to a computer or a modem via Ethernet to use the wireless to connect to the two USB ports (e. g. for two external hard drives)? Does Belkin make another product that would allow me to do this? Thanks, Tom

- Answer Yes the Belkin N600 will work as you describe, although it only has 1 USB port and does not support USB hub connections. If you need 2 USB ports please look towards the Belkin N750 router. Regards, Belkin Support

- Answer I also have an Arris router which is the Internet provider link. I use the Belkin as a wireless point to hook with the Arris. Also I have other computers with no wireless as a workgroup and is linked to the Belkin with a cable.

- Answer I also was in dialup, as you are, for more than 10 years. Now my internet provider have a new router with more speed than dialup. I still have a computer with Vista hook to a Belkin router (before with a cisco router) and hook to my internet provider Arris router. You should contact your internet provider for the type of router you can have and you can hood to it with the normal Ethernet cable if it has their router has the connection or have your own router to hook to your internet router. Questionok, i already have a modem from Comcast which works well, i had another wireless router which controlled my house alarm camera's that router bit the dust, i bought a cable modem and that does not work, will this work for what i need it to do?

- Answer If you were using your Comcast with a cable to the wireless router and the wireless router connect to the Internet, then what you need is the replacement of the wireless router using Belkin, Cisco or anyone, which connects with your internet provider. I think you were monitoring your alarm thru internet.

- Answer This router will provide a good connection for your media streaming devices. It is a dual band router and you can dedicate the media band to those streaming devices. We put the router at one end of the house on the first floor. We have a smart TV and an Apple TV on the second floor on the other end of the house and those stream with no issues. Of course, you will be limited by the speed from your internet provider. As long as your internet is fast enough, this router will be able to provide sufficient signal to your streaming devices, in my experience.
